Updating Some Details Last year our marketing people thought it would be a good idea to add a new section to our website that showcased the craftsmanship and detail in our work. It was something we hadn’t really thought about because most customers are attracted to the finished, furnished homes. But it turned out, there was a great response to the idea of showcasing a home before it was furnished. I guess we never thought about it because we focus so much on the details of the finishing while we are working, and then the customers make more generalized statements of satisfaction. Just before our Grand Tommie win for 2010 Home Builder of the Year, we started an exciting new home project in one of Kelowna’s most desired Mission neighbourhoods. The home was designed to maximize the lake and city views, and the homeowners had a great list of unique additions they wanted incorporated into the design and construction of the home.
